How long will my appointment last? Appointments are booked in one hour to one and a half hour time frames. Weekends are held to these time frames. If you would like a longer appointment, a week day or evening would allow for this. Or call us to inquire about booking a private appointment for a fee.
I'm looking for a certain gown can you pull it? Bring your photos and idea boards. We work with brides every day and know our inventory extremely well. We will go over what you are looking for and pull gowns we have that fit that criteria. If we have a certain gown(s) that you would like to try we will pull them at that time. If we don't, we most likely have something very similar.
What should I bring? You don't need to bring anything to your initial appointment. You will be trying samples that are not fit to you. When your gown is purchased and arrives you will need to bring your shoes, lingerie and accessories to the fitting at that time.
We will be helping you in and out of the gowns so wear whatever you feel comfortable in with a consultant in the room with you. We are comfortable with whatever you decide.
Can I bring guests? We have four seats reserved for your appointment. There may be other appointments in the boutique with guests as well. We promise this to each appointment and do not move around the furniture.
Can we have Champagne? In the state of Washington it is against the Open Container Law to carry around an open container of alcohol into a public place. Call us for availabitity and reservation of Champagne, or to donate a bottle to your bride during her appointment.
Can we bring Food? We do not allow food in the boutique.
Can we bring small children, photographers, pets, etc... ? It's important to remember this is a big decision. The more going on and potential distractions the more difficult it becomes for the bride, as well as our other customers. We are open and relaxed as long as we are all respectful of one another, and it is not causing our bride more stress. Photographers may take photos as long as there is no set up or equipment placed in the boutique.

Do you do in house alterations? We work closely with an outside company, Emily's Sewing Shop. Emily's alters Dolce Bleu gowns exclusively. Please call the boutique to sep up an appointment to meet with them in our bridal boutique.
I'm losing weight can I order a smaller size? If you gown has been ordered we can not change the size. We will take your measurements and order the size you fit at the time of ordering. The gowns can be taken in but not let out. The size is just a number and reference the designer has set, don't let that cause you any stress or concern. Once the gown is altered there is no longer a number attached to it. It's just your gown. :)
How does this all work?
Generally brides try on gowns and once they make a decision they order a gown in their size and chosen color. This order is being placed as the brides gown, not the property of Dolce Bleu. In this case, it is a final sale and no returns or cancellations will be made.
A bride is able to pay half at the time or order and half when the gown arrives or the entire amount at time of purchase. Order times vary and we will forward your estimated arival time as soon as we know it.
When the gown arrives to Dolce Bleu we will contact the customer immediately to schedule a fitting and payment of remainder if due.
At that time our bride can schedule a fitting or an appointment with alterations.
If meeting with alterations we ask that you don't bring a large group with you. This is an important time to go over the gown and what you need done to it. We really ask for this time to concentrate and work with you one on one. Your final fitting would be ok to bring guests.
Do you buy gowns on consignment or back because of wedding being called off? We do not. We only purchase new gowns from our designers.
I'm expecting, what do I do? Unfortunately there is not much we can do about this as far as your dress is concerned. Once the order is placed and the dress is purchased, we can not cancel or change it. We may be able to alter the gown depending on style and if the design allows.
Do you clean gowns after the wedding? We do! We offer gown preservation - contact us for details.

Dolce Bleu has one of the largest inventory of Designer Wedding Dresses in sizes 0-32. We have samples in all sizes for our brides. Special order time for bridal gowns is approximately 20 weeks. We also sell gowns off the rack. Trying to find the perfect dress is stressful enough, feeling rushed should not be part of that.
If you are looking for a specific gown from Allure Romance, Allure Couture, Madison James, Casablanca, Enzoani Blue, Beautiful and Couture, Essense of Australia, Martina Liana, La Sposa, Pronovias, White, Atelier, Adriana Papell, Sophia Tolli or David Tutera and we don't have a sample, we can request a loaner sent to us for a small shipping fee. That fee will be deducted from the gown you choose. You will be able to see and try on the gown before it goes back.
